CHYPPS (Childrens and Young Peoples Partnership Somerset)
The Children and Young People’s Partnership Somerset , is a partnership of voluntary and community organisations working with children and young people, from early years to young adult. The membership represents a broad range of services, which includes large national charities, uniform & faith groups, play & youth associations, and numerous other groups and individuals working across the spectrum of children and young people's services.
The CHYPPS brief was to produce a website which would appeal to professionals working with Children and Young People. The aim was to network the services and opportunities available to Children and Young People across Somerset and provide a platform for sharing good practice.
The final specification included a membership database search, by area, age and service; events and opportunities areas which are editable by the CHYPPS membership; A newsletter broadcasting system and a members only area.
