Supporting developing countries

SensoryStore is aiming to develop a number of volunteer groups, training them to market the work of community groups from developing countries online.

If you would like to set up a volunteer group based in the UK, please drop me a line. Volunteers will be trained to prepare images, update websites and consult with their clients. There is scope to later build on the skills of these volunteers and develop the group(s) in the direction of social enterprise. Please note that funding for these groups will need to be sought together and secured before training commences.

The first website for a developing country can be viewed at:
http://laliguranswomenskill.org.np

SensoryStore would welcome nominations from or for community groups in developing countries who:

  • Do not currently have a website;
  • Would see economical benefits from such a development;
  • Would be pro-active in emailing copy and photographs.

Nominees must speak English and actively use email.

SensoryStore is unable to support all those community groups nominated. We will reply to each applicant within 3 months of submission. Please contact us for application details.
