Simple Fostering wanted their Foster Carers Allowances website brought up-to-date. They had strong ideas of the style but needed us to help them materialise it. We introduced additional functionality to the site in the form of twitter feeds, newsletter sign-up, and an image slideshow promoting their ideas.
Working with start up businesses is like having a blank canvas. We get to explore the brand in a holistic fashion and develop its entire persona.
New businesses come with a unique energy which is great to work with.
For Purely Yoga we've developed logo, business cards, letterheads and their first website.
"I would highly recommend Sensory Store to anyone wishing to build a new website or update and optimise an existing website.I can't thank Sonia Rockett and her team enough for the personalised help and advice I received once I had decided I needed a website. The trouble was I initially didn't know what I wanted. Sonia and her team were expertly able to filter my rather vague ideas into a cohesive, professional website - which is already drawing in clients after only being 'live' for a month.I particularily appreciated Sonia's collaborative approach to web design - I really did come away feeling like we had built something amazing together!" Sonya Bedingfield - Purely Yoga
Somerset Lesbian Network had started developing their own website but eventually decided to commission the site through SensoryStore. The site keep elements of the original design which had become a strong part of the groups identity.
We developed the events system to only providing publically, basic event information without the details. Once logged in the members may view all the details of each event.
The site is designed to encourage networking between members. Members can add messages anbd comment on others messages. Members can also indicate whether they will be attending certain events.

Step-Up is a project run by a partnership of three organisations based in Wiltshire: Charities Information Bureau, Learning Curve and Volunteer Centre Swindon. The partnership required interested website developers to tender for the work with ideas on how to best manage a growing number of online resources in a way which would be accessible to visitors. They were keen also to integrate promotion of their advisory services amongst the resources. Luckily we were selected to deliver the project and produced this...
"I recommend SensoryStore as excellent to do business with - they have been very understanding of the constraints we work under as a charity and have interpreted our needs to produce a very professional and user-friendly website. Many thanks to Sonia for her willingness to come up with creative solutions and for her patience in dealing with our decisions by committee!"
Kirsy Haasjes - Charities Information Bureau
This website has been developed in response to the shift in funding streams to new commissioning agents. It's a platform for charities to promote their services and provide sample case studies of their work and for commissioners to release tenders. Tenders are emailed to relevant charities and interest in the tenders can be registered through the website.
This is a bespoke development on a new version of a popular open source CMS system.

We have been working with suffolkjaguar for about 8 years and more recently we have undertaken regular online marketing work.
West of England School and College for young people with little or no sight required a website which was not only accessible to their learners but a site which delivered engaging information to parents of potential new learners to the School and College. The West of England team, were keen to convey their School and College through the use of video. In order to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 we have added captioning and provided text based transcripts to all the videos on the website.
The website allows staff of the West of England to keep their supporters, learners and their parents and informed of activities throughout the year.
The school is provided with regular statistics which informs them of the activities of their visitors to the website.
"The support provided by SensoryStore has been great. They are always on the other end of the phone and respond quickly with relevant information. Their knowledge of accessibility has been a real resource to our services and their prices seem very reasonable. All in all very happy with the service provided"
Jacquie Syvret, West of England School and College.
ViSTA make good use of their Learning Management System. They use it to provide blended learning for the accredited courses they run. Each learner is given access to their specific course(s) where they can find all course materials and some interactive (SCORM compliant) applications. The system provides various means of communication between learners and trainers.
Angela Kerr from ViSTA says:
Our websites and IT systems are like having an additional virtual member of staff. Our systems provide a range of tasks from marketing to automating our learning management processes.
Open Sources CMS solution with some bespoke developments.

SCIPP were looking for rebranding and updating of their website. Following an initial meeting about branding, design concepts were supplied to SCIPP. SCIPP wanted a ribbon like logo to portray sharing of ideas, networking and professionalism.
SCIPP’s new website hosts a forum, news and events section and project staff have their own private discussion/sharing and reporting systems.

Youth Action Wiltshire tendered for a development company to upgrade their old website to a larger website that would be easy for their staff to update on a regular basis.
Here we used CMS Made Simple, which allows their staff to update the new website with minimum effort. As well as being much quicker to manage than their old system, they no longer need highly skilled staff to update their site and they can update it from anywhere.
If you would like a more a demonstration on how a Content Management System could benefit your company just contact us.
"SensoryStore were excellent and exceeded our expectations when it came to a much needed overhaul of our outdated charity website. Sonia and her team were very helpful and patient from start to finish of the project. Even the aftercare we received was excellent where any minor bugs that we had first missed were quickly dealt with and resolved." Simon Hughes - Youth Action Wiltshire
